Condition at Time of Sale
At the time of evaluation, the system powered on successfully and booted into
Mac OS System 7.5.2, which had been cleanly installed on the internal SCSI hard drive.
- Booted successfully into Mac OS 7.5.2
- Hard drive completed low‑level formatting and OS installation
- AppleCD 600i SCSI CD‑ROM booted installation media but was noisy during use
- System date and time were incorrect, indicating a depleted PRAM battery
- Networking was not tested, though TCP/IP settings were present
- Floppy disk drive was not tested
The enclosure showed typical age‑related cosmetic wear, including yellowing,
scuffs, and scratches. The plastic was extremely brittle.
One of the plastic clips securing the front bezel broke when the case was opened
for photography. The broken plastic clip was included with the system.
