Description
Original Sun Microsystems speaker box, part number 540-2220-04, manufactured in 1992 for use with Sun SPARCstation and other early UNIX workstation systems. This appears to be a very clean example and may have seen little use, as the original protective cover remains on the connector.
The unit features integrated cabling with a Sun proprietary connector, a front-mounted speaker grille, and top-mounted controls for mute and volume adjustment. It is a desirable accessory for collectors, restorers, or display builds.
