Description
Creative Labs Cambridge SoundWorks stereo desktop computer speakers (model GCS300 / SBS36) from the late 1990s to early 2000s. These are the kind of speakers that would have come with a desktop PC from the Windows 98 or early Windows XP era.
These are what you would have listened to AOL saying “You’ve got mail” and the early synthesized speech of the guards in Castle Wolfenstein.
The speakers were tested using a modern device via a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and produced clear audio output. Some static was noticed when adjusting the volume, and a slight hum can be heard at higher volume levels, which is typical for speakers from this era.
The set includes the original AC adapter (AD41-0900400DUU). The right speaker contains the power button, volume control, and headphone output jack.
