Description
Up for sale is a computer speaker set in good used condition. These would have come with a Gateway 2000 computer from the 1990s – pre 1998 since, according to Wikipedia, that’s when Gateway 2000 changed their name to Gateway.
These are what you would have listened to AOL saying “You’ve got mail” and the early synthesized speech of the guards in Castle Wolfenstein.
We connected these to our Android phone’s headphone jack and they seem to work just fine. There is a plug on the back for a Sub woofer, but the Sub is NOT included – just the stereo speakers. There is also a B port which may be another input?
This is a more fully-featured set of speakers for the time, with volume, treble, and bass controls, dual inputs, and a dedicated subwoofer output.
