This listing is for an original Apple Macintosh Performa 6400/180 desktop computer introduced in 1996. This PowerPC-based Macintosh was tested and successfully booted into Mac OS 8.1 during inspection.
The original hard drive was not detected. To allow testing, a Maxtor 90432D3 IDE hard drive was installed, and a clean installation of Mac OS 8.1 was completed successfully.
