Description
Please read the full description and examine all photos carefully before purchasing.
This listing is for a vintage curly power cable believed to have been used with large Sun Microsystems monitors from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
Based on prior ownership and configuration, this cable appears to have been used with large monitors paired with Sun Microsystems 3/50 and 3/60 “Pizza Box” workstations. In this setup, the cable plugs from the monitor into the workstation to supply power to the monitor through the computer.
The cable is rated at 10 amps and is constructed with 18‑gauge, 3‑conductor (18‑3) wiring. The jacket markings include:
- Belden
- 10A
- E‑3462‑F
- 18‑3
- LL‑24121
This cable was acquired as part of a lot of vintage equipment purchased years ago at a government surplus auction. While this type of cable matches those seen with large Sun monitors, it is not labeled with a Sun Microsystems part number, and formal manufacturer attribution cannot be guaranteed.
The cable is in used condition, with wear consistent with age and prior use. Please review all photos carefully to assess condition, connector style, and suitability for your application.
Important Notes
You are purchasing ONE POWER CABLE ONLY.
No monitor, workstation, or additional equipment is included. Compatibility is specific and limited; please verify requirements for your Sun hardware before use.
