Up for sale is a downloadable ISO image of the original driver CD which came with a Samsung CLP-310 Color Laser Printer from 2009, V. 1.35, JC46-00386A from January of 2009. You do NOT get the CD, you get a download of a .zip file of the .iso image of the CD. You will need to download the .zip file, decompress it, and either burn the ISO image to a disc or mount it. The download link is set to expire after 7 days. The .zip file download size is: 438 MB (459,604,598 bytes) and the uncompressed .iso file size is 640 MB (672,030,720 bytes).
DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO WORK WITH A MODERN OPERATING SYSTEM! This is for older Microsoft operating systems!
This includes documentation and driver software for Samsung CLP-310 Series Color Laser Printers from January 2009. DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO WORK WITH A MODERN OPERATING SYSTEM! We tried to run the ‘Setup.exe’ file in Windows 10 and it would not run by clicking on it through Windows File Explorer – see the third picture with the error. We were able to work around this by running ‘cmd.exe’ as administrator and launching the ‘Setup.exe’ from the root of the CD from the administrator’s command prompt. We did not try to install the software.
Judging by the folders on the CD, this is for the following operating systems:
- Windows Vista / XP / 2000 – 32-bit
- Windows Vista / XP 64-bit
