Up for sale is an HP Compaq Presario M2010US laptop being sold FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. This system powers on but has significant issues and is not fully functional.
Functional Issues
- System powers on but overheats and shuts down after running for a short time
- Hard drive was removed and wiped externally (system would not stay on long enough for DBAN)
- Hard drive has been reinstalled after wiping
- Surface scan of the hard drive showed no errors
- System clock was incorrect, indicating a likely CMOS battery issue
