Up for sale is a Thecus W4000 Network Attached Storage. This NAS was purchased as a spare back in 2015 and has sat on the shelf – it is now being offered on the internet in hopes that someone can use it. The hard drives are NOT included. It is in new, old stock condition. We had originally purchased it as a spare for our other NAS unit, but never needed the spare. It comes with 2GB of RAM, but we recommend you upgrade it to 4GB as it is pretty slow with just the included 2GB of RAM. These are really interesting because they run Windows Server Essentials with Active Directory support, Microsoft Storage Spaces, Windows Client Integration (with backup), Remote Web Access, and supports up to 50 users or devices.
