Up for sale is a used IBM Selectric II Electric Typewriter. This was stored in an old van for 10+ years and would be useful for parts or might be a candidate for restoration. It is quite dirty and bits of the sound dampening material have come off inside of the case. We plugged it in and when it was turned on, it hummed and when the keys were pressed, it twitched a little bit like it was trying to type, but that’s it. Please keep these things in mind when making your decision. This old typewriter is heavy (40# plus when properly packed), so if you would like to save on the shipping, local pickup at no charge is available.
