Up for sale is a used Synology DiskStation DS1812+ Network Attached Storage. This NAS was originally put into service in 2014 and retired to light duty back in 2019 when we purchased a newer, faster NAS and newer, higher capacity hard drives. Now, we have finally retired it fully. This unit has been wiped securely and reset to the defaults – we setup the NAS as a new NAS again and the username and password will be included on a label on the NAS in the package. We recommend you change this password when you receive the NAS, or reset it again to the defaults. It will be packaged carefully for shipment to you. This has 3 x 4TB Western Digital Red NAS hard drives which have been securely erased and are ready for you to use. This comes with the power cable pictured and you will need to provide your own ethernet patch cables. This NAS needs screws to fasten the hard drive to the caddy and you will need to provide your own screws for adding more than the three hard drives included.
