Description
Up for sale is an old IO Shield from about the late 1990’s – as we remember, this was the AT IO shield which would have come with an ATX computer case. You would have used this one to mount your older AT form factor motherboard into your new ATX case. The sharp edges on this bring back memories of building computers and ending up with bloody hands! It has openings for:
- AT Keyboard
- 2 x DB-9 Serial Ports (has removable blanks)
- 2 x DB-25 Serial / Parallel Port (has removable blanks)
- 2 x Standard 6-32 Case Screws – to attach the IO plate to the case (screws not included)
This attaches to the case with the six tab that slip into the case and it will need two screws (not included) for the top. It does not snap in like modern IO shields
This is an old part which we do not need and hope someone on the internet will be able to put it to use.
We’re not sure which motherboards or cases this fits! LOOK AT THE PICTURES!
You are purchasing a 1990’s vintage IO Shield only!
