Up for sale is a good used SATA III controller card. This was put into service in October 2022 and retired in February 2026 in a home brew server – we have now upgraded to a hardware RAID card and have this one left over. So, we’re offering it on the internet in hopes that someone out there can put it to use! Included are the two SFF-8087 breakout cables pictured – we only used the longer one and since the shorter one was just laying around and we don’t have anything to use it with, we are including it with this controller card. The long breakout cable measures about 1m long and the short one measures about 0.5m long.
