Up for sale is an old AT keyboard in good used condition – we connected it to our old Windows XP machine and it seemed to work just fine. We used an AT to PS2 converter – the converter is NOT included and if you need one, you will need to find your own. This is an old QTronix QX-083 83 key AT keyboard which has been modified by Scan Technology into a 2000MBK/T/83S with a magnetic card reader on the side. This keyboard has a physical block under the numlock key and numlock is stuck on – we suspect that numlock has to be on for the magnetic card reader to work, but we’re not sure on that one. However, when we swiped a credit card into the card reader, it did not work. So, this probably requires a specific type of magnetic card to work. This comes with a type-through protective cover which is worn and a bit dirty (See pictures), but when we looked under one corner of it, the keyboard underneath seems to be in good shape. The protective type-through cover is part number 727C83 – but we are unsure of the manufacturer.
