Panasonic KX-P1124 Dot Matrix Tractor or Friction Feed Parallel Port Printer

Up for sale is an old Panasonic KX-P1124 parallel port dot matrix printer. We powered it on and were successfully able to print a self test page button while powering on the printer – see pictures, we also connected it to an old Windows XP computer and we were able to get it to print a test page connected via the parallel port. There is a problem with loading the paper: you have to sneak the paper past the strip behind the print head in order to load it. After the paper is loaded, it slips by the strip, but it needs help to get there – see pictures! This strip will need to be replaced or repaired! The test pages are in good condition considering they were printed with a ribbon which has been in the printer from decades ago! This printer supports tractor paper also (NOT tested as we don’t have any tractor feed paper available, but the tractors did move when tractor feed was selected with the lever on top), a parallel cable (about 4′ long).
