Description
Up for sale is a used promotional pin for NASA’s first space shuttle launch.. This features the names of the two astronauts flying the spacecraft: John Young and Robert Crippen and the name of the orbiter: Columbia all in a graphic of the mission patch. It is about 2 1/4 inches in diameter, made of steel and has some fading and slight corrosion on the back – SEE PICTURES! It’s not dated, but the launch was back on 12 April 1981, so this is likely 4+ decades old.
Hope someone out there on the interwebs can use it!
