Description
Up for sale is an old IO Shield from about the late 1990’s – as we remember, this was the generic universal IO shield which would have come with a computer case. One of the features is the sharp edges which would inevitably slice up your hands when working inside of one of these vintage cases. It has openings for:
- PS/2 Mouse
- PS/2 Keyboard
- RJ-45 Network (removable metal flap still installed)
- USB
- Parallel LPT Port
- 1 x RS232 Serial Port – 9-pins
- 1 x VGA Monitor Port – could also be used for extra RS232 Serial port, but it has a symbol for a monitor.
- 3 x Audio Ports (Line In, Line Out, and Microphone)
This attaches to the case with a tab that slip onto the bottom and it uses two screws (NOT included) for the top. It does not snap in like modern IO shields
This is an old part which we do not need and hope someone on the internet will be able to put it to use.
We’re not sure which motherboards this fits! LOOK AT THE PICTURES!
You are purchasing a 1990’s vintage IO Shield only!
