Up for sale is a lot of 2 IBM Thinkpad 390E Laptops for PARTS/REPAIR. Both laptops power on, but the AC adapters are NOT INCLUDED – you will need to provide your own (16VDC, 3.36A). There is also ONLY ONE RAM stick between the two. There are many defects on these two laptops and they are summarized below – please keep in mind that this list may not be complete. These are being offering on the internet in hopes that someone can use some of the parts or is interested in repairing them. Please keep these things in mind when making your decision to purchase. If you would like to save on the shipping, you’re welcome to schedule a time to come and pick them up.

IBM Thinkpad 390E, Type 2626-EOU (Laptop on the left)

• IBM Thinkpad 390E Laptop PC

• ‘Designed for Microsoft Windows NT Windows 98’ – You will need to provide your own install media and license.
• 64MB RAM (1 DIMM and one free memory slot – see pictures)
• NO HARD DRIVE and NO HARD DRIVE BRACKET
• Missing the door over the wireless card & BIOS battery compartment.
• Needs new BIOS battery
• NO BATTERY or OPTICAL DRIVE – There is a slot on the right for just a battery and a slot on the left for either a battery or an optical drive.
• NO AC Adapter – you will need to provide your own; it takes 16V DC, 3.36A
• Intel Pentium II CPU – 333MHz
• Color Display
• Scratches, Scrapes, other cosmetic defects
• Missing doors over I/O ports on side and rear
• Other defects?

• The screen is physically broken – but the laptop will startup when the RAM is installed from the other machine and it displayed an image when connected to an external monitor – see picture.
• ‘Designed for Microsoft Windows NT Windows 98’ – You will need to provide your own install media and license.
• NO RAM (two free memory slots – the RAM stick from the other one fits this one also)
• NO HARD DRIVE and NO HARD DRIVE BRACKET
• Needs new BIOS battery
• NO OPTICAL DRIVE – There is a slot on the right for just a battery and a slot on the left for either a battery or an optical drive.
• Li Ion Battery is included, but it does NOT hold a charge.
• NO AC Adapter – you will need to provide your own; it takes 16V DC, 3.36A
• Intel Pentium II CPU – 300PE MHz
• Scratches, Scrapes, other cosmetic defects
• Missing doors over I/O ports on the rear, but the I/O door on the side is there
• Other defects?
