Description
Up for sale is a downloadable ISO image file of the install CD which originally came with an HP ScanJet G4050 from 2007. You do NOT get the disc, only a download of an image file of the disc. Just download the zip file, extract the ISO file, and burn the image. The download link is set to expire after 7 days. File size of the .zip file for download is 434 MB (456,044,544 bytes) and the file size of the uncompressed .iso image file is 513 MB (538,128,384 bytes).
We tried to run the installer in Windows 10, but the setup program reported that ‘The operating system on this PC is not supported’ – see picture. We also tried to run it on our Windows XP VM, but the installer reported that there was no USB drivers and it also would not install. CD part number L1956-10021. This is from 2007 and is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows 2000 Professional
- XP Home, Professional, Professional x64
- XP Media Center Edition 2005
- Macintosh OS X v10.3.9, v10.4 and later (but don’t count on it!)
Software includes:
- HP Photosmart Premier 6.5 – Windows
- HP Photosmart Studio 9.2d – Macintosh
Purchase at your own risk for any other operating systems!
This is for use with HP ScanJet G4000 series scanners with older operating systems only!
YOU DO NOT GET THE CD! You must download the .zip file and make your own CD!
