Description
Up for sale is a downloadable ISO image file of the install CD which originally came with an HP DeskJet 5600 Series Printer from 2003. You do NOT get the disc, only a download of an image file of the disc. Just download the zip file, extract the ISO file, and burn the image. The download link is set to expire after 7 days. File size of the .zip file for download is 276 MB (290,335,000 bytes) and the file size of the uncompressed .iso image file is 343 MB (360,306,688 bytes).
The disc ran under Windows 10, but detected the operating system as not supported – see picture, it said it would install anyway, but installation was not recommended, so we didn’t try to complete the installation. This is from 2003 and is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows 98 – v. 9.4.2
- Windows ME – v. 9.4.2
- Windows 2000 – v. 9.4.2
- Windows XP – v. 9.4.2
- Mac OS X 10.1+ – v. 2.2.1
- Mac OS 8.6, 9.04 – v. 5.4
