Up for sale is a used 6TB desktop (3.5″) hard drive for use with NAS (Network Attached Storage) systems. Our original drive was purchased new in 2016 – it developed bad sectors while still under warranty with HGST and this drive is the replacement drive we received from Hitachi which is dated SEP-2018 and marked “Refurbished to HGST Specifications.” We have now upgraded our capacity and no longer have use for this drive. It has been wiped securely and now has one GPT partition with one volume formatted NTFS and it passed Western Digital Dashboard’s S.M.A.R.T. Diagnostic Extended Test with ‘No problems were detected.’ Hope someone out there can put it to use!
