Epson FX-85 9-pin Dot Matrix Tractor or Friction Feed Parallel Port Printer

Up for sale is an old Epson FX-85 parallel port dot matrix printer. We powered it on and were successfully able to print a self test page by holding the line feed button while powering on the printer – see pictures, we also connected it to an old Windows XP computer and we were able to get it to print a test page connected via the parallel port. The driver was built-in with Windows XP/ The test pages are are a bit on the light side considering they were printed with a ribbon which has been in the printer from decades ago! This printer supports tractor paper also (NOT tested as we don’t have any tractor feed paper available.) This was likely surplus from a government auction years ago and has the word ‘surplus’ written on the side – SEE PICTURES!
