Up for sale is an Asus M5A99X EVO Socket AM3+ ATX Motherboard with an AMD Athlon II X4 640 CPU AND 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB Modules). This motherboard was put into service in June of 2012 and in 2025 the system was upgraded to a newer, faster motherboard, processor, & RAM. So, we have this one left over. Hope someone out there on the internet can put it to use. This originally had Windows 8 Pro on it and had been upgraded to Windows 10 Pro during the free upgrade period, so you might be able to activate Windows 10 Pro on it without a product key, but NO WINDOWS PRODUCT KEY is included. We had the two 90GB SSDs configured in the onboard AMD RAID for RAID 0 – striped and they performed well. Ctrl+F during boot gets you into the RAID setup. Good luck!

This system was in good running condition, but the CPU cooling fan is getting a bit loud and the next owner will need to plan on replacing it sometime soon, we also can’t remember if or when we replaced the BIOS battery, so the next owner should expect to do that sometime soon!
