Up for sale is an Asus M5A78L-M LX Socket AM3+ uATX Motherboard with an AMD FX-4300 CPU AND 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB Modules). This motherboard was put into service in fall of 2012 and in November 2023 the system was upgraded to a newer, faster motherboard, processor, & RAM. So, we have this one left over. Hope someone out there on the internet can put it to use. This originally had Windows 8 Pro on it and had been upgraded to Windows 10 Pro during the free upgrade period, so you might be able to activate Windows 10 Pro on it without a product key, but NO WINDOWS 10 PRODUCT KEY is included – we are including the original Windows 8 Pro Product Key Card (but NO INSTALL MEDIA IS INCLUDED). You will need to provide your own install media. When we upgraded to Windows 10 in December 2015, we upgraded the old CPU to the one included in the listing – the AMD FX-4300 and we also added the HD5450 video card as the onboard video did not have drivers for Windows 10 – this PCIe video card is included in the lot. Good luck!

This system was in good running condition, but the CPU cooling fan is getting a bit loud and the next owner will need to plan on replacing it sometime soon.
