Up for sale is our 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV passenger car / SUV. It was purchased with about 20K miles on it in July 2024 and it now has about 64K miles – the number of miles will be increasing as the car will still be used until sold. It has always been driven by the owner as a family / commuter car and has had regular maintenance (refill the wiper fluid, rotate the tires, alignments) done and has served well! This is a lot of car for the money. We are looking to purchase a newer EV, so this one is for sale. The battery is under Chevrolet’s warranty until 100K miles or September of 2030 since this one was put into service in September of 2022. We bought this one from a dealership where one of the employees traded it in on a newer car and we were told this history of the vehicle: The car was received at the dealer and immediately Chevrolet placed a ‘stop sale’ order because of the battery recall on Bolt vehicles – the recall was completed and the car placed in service in Sept of 2022. It came with three years of Super Cruise and that expired in September of 2025 and was just renewed for another year. We just put a new set of tires on the car – Continental TrueContact Tour 54 – the new tires have more grip than the Michelin tires which came on it from the factory, but at the expense of a slightly reduced range. More friction means better cornering and wet / inclement weather handling, but more energy consumed.
JDPower says that these cost an average of $24,600 from a dealer BEFORE you add on the $899 ‘Document Processing Fee’ and go through with the ‘Dealership Experience’
