2.5″ SSD Solid State Hard Drive Drive Bay Cage Holder for Corsair Carbide Air 540

Description

Up for sale is an SSD bracket for use with Corsair Carbide Air 540 cases.   It holds 4 2.5″ drives (SSDs) and is made out of black plastic.  This may fit other cases, but we’re not for certain – you should check with Corsair for compatibility with your case BEFORE you purchase this one.  You might be able to use it with your own custom creation. It measures about 3 inches wide by about 4 1/4 inches long by about 4 1/4 inches tall. You could try to install mechanical 2.5″ drives, but it probably wouldn’t be a good idea since the plastic clips which hold the drives into the cage would put pressure on the mechanical drives which might not be a good idea – if you decide to install mechanical drives, do so at your own risk!

The last picture show how the cage is mounted in the case – it has three plastic clips which clip into the case (circled in red) and one plastic retaining clip at the top which holds the cage in (circled in blue).

This is in unused condition and we hope someone on the internet will be able to put it to use.
